Fit Chocolate Balls (sugar/dairy free) Brigadeiro Fit (sem açúcar/lactose)

As you may have noticed, I am a health fanatic! However, I am still a sugar-craving human being…soooo how to solve that problem? Well, instead of indulging on sugar-loaded sweets that will make me feel guilty afterwards, I made a little research and found this: SWEET POTATO CHOCOLATE BALLS!! Doesn’t it sound too good? Well, I assure you they are amazing-and healthy!

Ingredients:

  • 200g of peeled sweet potato (cooked).
  • ¾ cup of almond butter (or any nut butter really).
  • ½ cup of 100% dark chocolate powder.
  • ¼ cup of honey.
  • 3 tbs of coconut oil.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract.
  • A hint of pink salt.

Instructions:

After fully cooking the sweet potato, place all of the ingredients in a blender. Once the ingredients are well-mixed together, place the mixture in a container (glass containers are the best) and leave it in the fridge for about 30min-1hr (the more is stays in the fridge the best). Once the chocolate´s constancy is somewhat hard, you can roll it into small chocolate balls or eat it with a spoon-it´s up to you!

I made some toppings for my brigadeiro: crushed pistachios and almonds, coconut flakes, hemp seeds, and raspberries (pistachio and raspberry are my fav). But you can top the brigadeiros with whatever you want really(:

Ps: eat it within a week.
